
E.gress travels to Waterford
Waterford is the next stop on the E.gress exhibition tour | Thursday 14 April 2016
FILM SCREENING
Mobile Cinema | 10am – 6pm
Cathedral Square, Waterford City
E.gress is showing continually on a 10 minute loop. Entry is free & everyone is welcome.
A huge mobile cinema will be the screening venue the film work. You can’t miss it – the mobile cinema is a massive 100 seater, 36 tonne artic, and it will be parked in Waterford City Cathedral Square.
Everyone is welcome to this free event, and no booking is necessary, you can just call by between 10am and 6pm. The film is 10 minutes long and will be shown on a loop. The artist Marie Brett will be there for most of the day if people would like to informally meet her.
DISCUSSION EVENT
Mobile Cinema | 1.15pm
Exploring issues of CARE in relation to the film, its collaborative making and people’s first-hand experience of dementia, artist Marie Brett and Mary Grehan, Director of the Waterford Healing Arts Trust, will be joined in conversation by carer Margaret Power and Anne-Marie Veale, nurse manager with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
E.gress will be screened at the beginning of this event and complimentary light refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome and there will be an opportunity for audience questions. This is a free event and no booking is required.
